bio

I am in the real estate industry because I love working with people, maintaining strong relationships, and empowering and supporting people through transitions. The sale or purchase of property is a massive decision; for many it is the largest financial decision they make in their life. Moving and taking on a mortgage on its own suffices as a transition, and beyond this, the sale or purchase of property often occurs in tandem with other large life shifts relating to family, career, or relationships. As a realtor, it is my job to provide a haven for my clients through this process.

My relationship with real estate is emotional. From the time I was a little girl I loved attending homes with my mom. She would ask my opinions about landscaping, colors, layouts, and general design. And from there, my love for real estate, backyards, front yards, interior design, and architecture has blossomed. Walking onto a property, I feel inspired. I am fascinated by the history that lives within a home and I love seeing and imagining the potential a property holds. I do not take lightly the security that a true feeling of ‘home’ provides.

To be frank, obtaining this sense of ‘home’ is not usually a simple process. It is a huge commitment, and involves substantial financial capital, time, and dedication. The real estate industry is intimidating and continues to be oppressive and discriminatory.  It is clear to me that participation in this industry, and access to property ownership in general, is unequal, which is why my mission is to empower my clients through reliable and compassionate support. The industry as a whole is in need of a ‘shake up’, and I am here to push forward that mission. As a trained Social Worker, my primary motivation in entering the real estate industry is to assist people in obtaining autonomy, financial security, and with that, a belief in their own power—power to put a roof over their family’s head, power to support their community, power to create generational wealth, power to have personal freedom. I am skilled at gathering and synthesizing information about my clients’ goals, which allows me to assist my clients in obtaining the outcome that they most hope for. Whether you are ready to buy or sell property in the next couple of years or today, I am excited to join you on your journey! I will be with you every step of the way and hope to make the journey empowering and exciting.

I have lived in California, Minnesota, and Massachusetts, and recently moved to Portland, Oregon. I am so excited to be here. I love Portland’s ever-changing seasons, the accessibility to nature, and the absurd quantity of top notch restaurants. In my free time, I love exploring new neighborhoods on foot, drawing and painting, birdwatching, gardening, and spending time with close friends. Additionally, I enjoy picking paint colors, hanging wall art, antiquing, home organizing, and family archiving to an extent that is, at the very least, unusual.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me! Whether you are just dreaming about the future or are ready to make moves now, I am here to talk things through with you and help make a plan to ensure that you are able to actualize your dreams.
